✨ How to Apply Your New Decals

​Follow these steps for a professional, long-lasting finish.

​1. Prepare the Surface 🧼

​The secret to a 5-year bond is a perfectly clean surface.

• ​Clean: Use warm soapy water to remove dirt.
• ​De-grease: Wipe the area with Isopropyl Alcohol (or a bit of methylated spirits). This removes hidden waxes and oils.
• ​Dry: Ensure the surface is 100% dry and free of lint.
• ​Avoid: Do not use glass cleaners with "anti-fog" or "water-repellent" properties (like Rain-X), as these prevent the glue from sticking.

​2. Prepare the Decal 💳

• ​Lay the decal on a flat surface with the clear tape facing up.
• ​Firmly rub a credit card or squeegee across the clear tape. This "re-activates" the bond between the vinyl and the tape for an easy peel.

​3. The Peel & Stick 📐

• ​Peel: Slowly pull the white backing paper away from the clear tape. The vinyl should stay attached to the clear tape. Tip: Peel at a sharp 180° angle.
• ​Position: Lightly place one edge of the decal onto your surface.
• ​Apply: Using your card, sweep across the decal from the center outwards to push out any air.

​4. The Reveal 🏁

• ​Wait about 30 seconds, then slowly peel back the clear transfer tape at a sharp angle.
• ​If any part of the vinyl lifts, simply lay the tape back down, rub firmly, and try again.

​🛡️ Aftercare Advice

• ​Let it Cure: Avoid washing the area for 72 hours to allow the adhesive to fully bond.
• ​Cleaning: Hand-wash only with mild soap. Avoid high-pressure washers directly on the edges of the decal.
• ​Fuel Spills: If fuel gets on the decal (common in racing), wipe it off immediately to prevent the vinyl from softening.
